With President Trump’s election, the ice has been cracking around woke cultural directives, and the latest example is Amazon reversing its ridiculous decision to disappear our friend Ryan Anderson’s book, When Harry Became Sally. 

It came out seven years ago and was available for sale on Amazon during the Trump years, and then got removed from Amazon at the start of the Biden administration, presumably for myriad supposed thought crimes. With Bezos attending Trump’s inauguration, it was especially absurd for his company to ban a book that advanced arguments that Trump used to help win the 2024 election.

Ryan’s book re-appearing on Amazon isn’t going to boost it onto the bestseller list, but it’s the principle of the thing that matters. Now, finally, he’s not being punished for being prescient about one of the foremost cultural issues of our time.
