Almost the moment I posted the Corner post below about Keith Kellogg, Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, the Financial Times reports that Trump now intends to maintain U.S. military supplies to Kyiv after his inauguration, “according to three other people briefed on the discussions with Western officials,” and Trump will demand NATO members more than double the current “2 percent spending target — which only 23 of the alliance’s 32 members currently meet — to 5 percent, two people briefed on the conversations said. One person said they understood that Trump would settle for 3.5 percent.”
Weird move for a guy who we keep getting told is a pawn of Vladimir Putin, huh?
Hang on a second, I have to add a tenth thing to my list of things to look forward to from Trump’s second term.
