Another factor to take into account regarding Biden’s fate is that no elected Democrat wants to be the first to say he should go, increasing the odds that no one will ever say it.

Even if someone does say it, that doesn’t mean Biden will go, so the call for him to step aside will have just wounded the nominee and incumbent president a little more.

In other words, the same dynamic that has propped up Biden to this point may well still obtain.
