Most of our college officials are deep-dyed “progressives” who don’t want to abandon their beloved forms of indoctrination. The Trump administration is saying that their “diversity” programs will be regarded as cause for investigation by the Department of Education. Will school officials avoid trouble by ditching their problematic courses?

The evidence suggests that they won’t give in to the administration — rather like the “massive resistance” to desegregation in the South following Brown v. Board of Education.

In today’s Martin Center article, Ashlynn Warta looks at colleges in North Carolina and finds that they are not dropping mandatory “diversity” courses. Looking at many courses, she concludes that it’s “nearly impossible” for students to avoid DEI material. The UNC leadership is playing word games to pretend that it’s complying with the Trump order.
