Phil took the 49ers. Andy took the Chiefs. I’m joining Phil. As I write, I have the same “but what if . . .?” feeling that I’ve had the last two times I’ve bet against the Chiefs. But, on the first Sunday of the NFL season, I said aloud that I thought the 49ers were going to win the Super Bowl, and I feel somehow obliged to stick with that prediction. This season, the Chiefs came to Jacksonville and should have lost, whereas the 49ers came to Jacksonville and absolutely destroyed my Jaguars. Does that mean that the 49ers will win today? No, of course not. Does it mean that I’ve personally seen what they can do to a team — and recently? It does. Add these two things together, and I’m picking San Francisco.

As such, I’m going with these:
