Kamala Harris is “passionate, she’s compassionate, she shows empathy, and most of all, she is not delusional,” rapper Cardi B said at the vice president’s campaign rally in Wisconsin on Friday. The cost of living is “too high,” she said, adding that, “damn, it’s even too high for me!” (Cardi’s net worth is nearing $100 million.)
Cardi, who was almost sued by the Federal Communications Commission after a live performance of her hit song “WAP” (Wet Ass P****) ruffled some feathers for its raunchiness at the Grammys, also blasted Donald Trump’s recent comment on protecting women’s health whether they “like it or not”:
“Did you hear what Donny Dump said the other day? Y’all heard what he said? Alright, I’m going to tell you right now . . . he says he’s going to protect women whether they like it or not,” Cardi B said in Milwaukee. “He said he’s going to protect women whether they like it or not, I’m repeating it. Donny Dunk, please. Protection for women, especially if we’re talking about maternal and mental healthcare, isn’t telling them what to do with their bodies. It’s supporting them and giving them the care they need for what they choose to do with their bodies. I don’t play that. People like Donald Trump don’t believe women deserve rights.
One year ago, the rapper declined to endorse a candidate, but made her opinion that America couldn’t “fund two wars” known. Our nation is “going through some sh*t right now,” she said, and is “really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really f*****.” When Harris entered the race in July, Cardi spotted a candidate free of delusion and changed her mind about voting in the presidential election, she said at the rally.
