Kathleen Stock is a British feminist philosopher and author of Material Girls: Why Reality Matters for Feminism. As an outspoken critic of transgender ideology, she was hounded from her teaching position at the University of Sussex by transgender activists. This month Stock is scheduled to speak at the Oxford Union, one of Britain’s most prestigious college debating societies. In advance of the event, “welfare resources” have been offered to any Oxford University students who might be struggling with the “sensitive nature” of Stock’s visit. The Daily Mail reports that “the student union is reviewing its ties with the OU and has voted to cease its commercial and financial relationships.”
