Our National Review Institute has many fine programs. One of my favorites is the William F. Buckley Jr. Communicators Workshop. It’s coming up on June 23 and 24 (a Friday and Saturday). The workshop will be held in Arlington, just outside D.C. For more info, go here.
Let me quote from the page I have just linked to:
William F. Buckley Jr. inspired generations of people through civil discourse, logical argument, and engaging persuasion. The WFB Communicators Program carries on this tradition of principled leadership by educating and equipping undergraduate and graduate students of journalism, marketing, communications, public relations, and advertising.
A bit more:
This workshop will feature thought-provoking speakers addressing timely topics who will lead interactive sessions.
Well, I my own bad self will be one of the speakers, and if our PR says “thought-provoking,” I will try to deliver. Bill Buckley and communication are two of my favorite subjects, and to combine them is a treat.
If our program seems right for you, do join us.
