There are indications that the Washington Redskins, as I still habitually call them, are perhaps considering bringing back the “Redskins” name. They should. There was never anything wrong with the name, it made for one of the best logos in the NFL, and was a great tradition. Trashing the name was also arbitrary in a league dominated by the Chiefs, while in other major sports we have the Braves and Blackhawks. I’ve long been a hater of the Washington football team, but even I’ll say a hearty “Hail to the Redskins” if they reverse this act of senseless wokery.
