United Nations Women didn’t stand up for the Israeli women who were raped, killed, assaulted, or desecrated by terrorists on October 7, but the group does apparently stand up for men who pretend to be women. UN Women UK just awarded biological male Munroe Bergdorf its “UN Women UK Champion” award, our Abigail Anthony reports:
Bergdorf began working with UN Women UK in 2018 and has since been involved in the Draw a Line campaign, which seeks to “change attitudes and behaviour towards violence against women.”
Bergdorf has been a vocal advocate for transgenderism, racial justice, “sex workers,” and Palestine.
“Trans people should be fighting with Black people, should be fighting with cisgender women, should be fighting with sex workers, should be fighting with refugees,” Bergdorf wrote in a Glamour op-ed for “Transgender Awareness Week” this year.
Remember, governmental and non-governmental organizations voluntarily fund UN Women. United Nations member states don’t have to fund the group that took almost two months to condemn Hamas’s gender-based violence against women, and neither do the many businesses that support UN Women. The U.S. gave more than $46 million to UN Women in 2022, contributing to the $544 million the organization amassed that year.
Some foundations that also contributed in 2022:
(These foundations all fund a number of radical feminist organizations that also shunned Israeli women on October 7.)
And, some private businesses that contributed in 2022: De Beers PLC, MTN Group Management Services, LinkedIn, Mary Kay Inc, McKinsey & Company, H&M Group, American Eagle Outfitters Inc, Microsoft, L’Óreal, MasterCard, Google, and Getty Images.
UN Women’s deputy chief endorsed vile anti-semitic posts on social media, the organization has demanded proof of Hamas’s gender-based violence, and UN Women retracted its initial statement condemning Hamas’s brutality. On top of its many efforts to undermine the sheer horror that women experienced when terrorists stormed into Israel on October 7, UN Women now labels a male, whose advocacy passions include sex work and “Palestine,” as a “Champion.”
