Former advisor to Donald Trump and far-right ideologue Steve Bannon made what looked like a Nazi gesture at the end of his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), on Friday, February 21. Billionaire and top Trump aid Elon Musk performed a similar gesture at the US's inauguration ceremony a month earlier.
The annual CPAC in Washington brings together many of the world's most conservative right and far-right figures. France's Jordan Bardella, president of the far-right Rassemblement National, canceled his appearance at the conference on Friday citing a "gesture alluding to Nazi ideology."
