The conservative European People's Party (EPP) – the biggest force in the EU parliament – on Thursday, March 7, endorsed Ursula von der Leyen's bid for a second term as chief of the bloc.

A total of 400 delegates voted for this German former defense minister's bid for a second term, the EPP announced at their party congress in Bucharest. 89 voted against.
