He also repeated that this war was Joe Biden's, that it would never have happened had he been president in 2022 and that it could have led to World War III.

"Putin invited me to get involved… I'm going to be telling him: 'You got to end this war'… I think we'll have constructive conversations… We're going to see what the parameters are… At the end of that meeting, probably in the first two minutes, I'll know exactly whether or not a deal can be made. Because that's what I do. I make deals… If it's a fair deal, I'll reveal it to the European Union leaders and to the NATO leaders and also to President Zelensky. I think out of respect, I'll call him first," explained Trump, who also anticipated a second summit: "The next meeting will be with Zelensky and Putin, or Zelensky, Putin, and me. I'll be there if they need, but I want to have a meeting set up between the two leaders."
