MAX - ON DEMAND - SERIES
It is a well-oiled ritual. A heavenly location, one or more corpses, a flashback and a week to elucidate the identity of the person or persons who bore the brunt of this new season of The White Lotus.
After receiving warm critical acclaim and collecting a slew of Emmy Awards, the series created by screenwriter Mike White has turned into one of the most eagerly awaited anthologies, and one of the best series currently being produced by HBO. Starting from six episodes in 2021 to seven in 2022 and eight today, The White Lotus has the luxury of extending the mystery a little further. So much so that, after the first six episodes of season 3 (at the time of writing, the last two were not available), we are still not entirely sure what we have seen, or how the knot of vipers that formed before our eyes will unravel.
This one has settled in Thailand, at the White Lotus on the island of Ko Samui, and is made up of a group of girlfriends, a family and a couple. The bonds that have united Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan), Laurie (Carrie Coon) and Kate (Leslie Bibb) since childhood are being shattered by social pressure and jealousy.
