I was born in the 60s and grew up in Siberia. I lived my first life there. First marriage, first son. Then in the 80s, I moved to Moscow, where I played the drums in a band. I got divorced, remarried, and started a career in film acting. Ten years later, I came to Paris, invited by a famous director, to work on a movie project. I stayed in Aubervilliers for three weeks with the troupe, living in the artists' caravan camp.
One evening, a dinner is organized with people invited by the film director. I am shortly introduced to a woman who seems to be with a photographer. I don't speak French, juste un petit peu. Her name is Gabrielle. Her eyes, her smile, have a strong impact on me. I find her very attractive and my only desire is to look at her, but I try my best not to stare.
