Nicolas Di Felice, who has been artistic director of Courrèges fashion house since 2020, grew up in Belgium in the 1990s and 2000s – during the golden age of electronic music and the blossoming rave scene. To celebrate this rich culture, he has joined forces for a few weeks with Vincent Privat and Xavier Ehretsmann, who are at the helm of Dizonord, an independent record shop based in Paris and Marseille. Their temporary boutique will be open until February 25 in the heart of Paris's fashionable Marais district.
On the line-up: a joint curation of objects, including a cutting-edge selection of electronic and experimental music, as well as vintage books and magazines, notably focusing on queer culture. There's also a 200-copy reprint of Julia von Dorpp's cult classic book Ex-Tracts, about British rave flyers of the 1990s; and a selection of prints of photography by Spyros Rennt and Cha Gonzalez, documenting the liberating and exhilarating aspects of nightlife.
