Olympic nostalgics can relive some of the memories with a visit to La Galerie Dior, the "museum" in which the fashion house promotes its heritage and which adjoins its flagship boutique on Avenue Montaigne, in Paris's 8th arrondissement, until September 30. The four outfits in question, designed by Dior for the performers at the opening ceremony on July 26, are on display there.
It's a chance for the curious to see for themselves the made-to-measure pieces on which the workshops and feather-maker Lemarié worked on for many weeks. It is also an opportunity for the brand to take further advantage of the Olympic spotlight it has enjoyed thanks to the "premium" partnership forged between its parent company, the LVMH group, and the Paris 2024 organizing committee.
