On the evening of Thursday, January 11, the Elysée announced the composition of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal's new government, which includes Former Nicolas Sarkozy minister and Paris 7th arrondissement mayor (with the right-wing Les Républicains, LR) Rachida Dati coming in as culture minister; Macron party president Stéphane Séjourné taking over the Foreign Ministry; and former LR MP Catherine Vautrin becoming minister of labor.

Certain high-profile figures such as Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin and Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti have retained their positions.

Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, who serves as minister of education, youth, sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, will also be taking over the Ministry of Education from Attal.
