Thursday, June 6, 2024, marks the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings. The program for the day includes ceremonies on most of the five landing beaches: Utah, Omaha, Juno, Gold and Sword. The main international ceremony will take place at 3 pm on Omaha Beach.

Aged between 96 and 104, coming from the US, UK or Canada, roughly 200 WWII veterans have arrived in Normandy to commemorate that day, in which most of them participated.
