Jack Posobiec took the stage at CPAC on Friday morning. "Welcome to the new American republic," he told the crowd, praising them for their efforts to get Trump into office. The mission, he said is to "restore freedom for the American people."
Calling the election of Trump for a second term a miracle, he addressed criticisms that Trump is destroying the Constitution, saying that instead what he's doing is restoring it. "Donald Trump is not violating the Constitution. Donald Trump is restoring the American Constitution. Donald Trump is the living embodiment of the American Constitution," he said. "Donald Trump is embodying the values of our founding fathers for the first time in a long time in Washington, DC.
Taking aim at bureaucrats who may have been dishonest in their work, Posobiec said "Kash Patel is coming for you." Posobiec had a laundry list of those who are coming under fire from the new administration, from illegal immigrants to warmongers.
"This country was built by Americans for Americans, and we will hand it off to our American children. And to the warmongers of the war machine. Guess what? Your war machine is riding to a halt, the wars will end, and peace will break out across the world, across —and by the way, I've never seen the mainstream media and the Democrats more upset when we're ending wars and actually restoring peace in the world. It's as simple as that, because I'm sorry, World War III has been canceled," Posobiec declared.
Trump has seen every one of his Cabinet nominees make it through the Senate confirmation process and as each of them has taken the helm of their respective agencies, the government has been remade to fall in line with Trump's policies and to fulfill his extensive campaign promises. "We're going to go after the pedophiles, we're going to after the traffickers, we're going to go after the illegals, we're going to go after the cartels," he said, noting that this "includes the foreign agents that are working and have penetrated the United States government."
To Congress, Posobiec said "we will count every single dollar," warning them to vouchsafe Americans' tax dollars.
"President Trump came up and he found the destiny of the American people lying in the gutter, and he picked it up with his bare hands, and he yelled 'Fight! Fight! Fight!'" Posobiec said. "And the American people delivered their mandate to him and put it on his head. As President Trump himself said just a few days ago, a man who saves his nation violates no law."
To those federal judges that have stood in the way of Trump's executive orders including Supreme Court justices who are poised to hear challenges to the executive branch, Posobiec said "all of your power will be struck down," and assured them "we're going to take a look at that impeachment clause, as well."
"The American people are back," Posobiec said. He spoke about the moment before the infamous rally in Butler, PA on July 13, before Trump was shot by a would-be assassin. Trump, he said, was on his knees, his hands folded in prayer. "I believe in that moment, God spoke to President Trump and delivered him." Posobiec called that Trump's "ultimate mission." He called for CPAC attendees to "put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground."
