Israeli soldiers claim Palestinian terror group Hamas slaughtered 40 babies and children before beheading some. A report from the DailyMail states that around 70 armed militants gunned down the young victims’ families in Kfar Aza kibbutz in Southern Israel, a usually quiet and peaceful area, murdering anyone in sight.

Images have circulated online of bloodied corpses lying in the streets, which Israeli soldiers went to clean up on Tuesday, amongst burnt houses and torched cars.

The IDF soldiers tasked with carrying away the massacred bodies told i24news that they saw babies with their heads cut off lying next to their cribs and strollers

Images allegedly collected from the scene corroborate the gruesome acts. One shows part of a bloodied blue jean baby’s dress next to a baby seat soaked in blood. Others show bullet-riddled doors and walls with blood spatter and corpses being carried away in body bags.

Video footage from i24news with reporter Nicole Zedek shows Israeli soldiers, many of whom are from the reserve, emotional and comforting each other at the scene after the traumatizing sight.

She reports that at the time the video was recorded, many troops were still going door to door to collect bodies but that it would sometimes take them 30 minutes “because many of the houses still have grenades in them, booby-traps.”

IDF Major General Itai Veruv told Zedek, “You see the babies, the mothers, the fathers, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms and how the terrorist kills them. It's not a war, it's not a battlefield. It's a massacre, it's a terror activity.”

“It is something that I never saw in my life,” he continued. “It's something that we used to imagine from our grandfathers, grandmothers in the pogrom in Europe and other places. It's not something that happens in new history.”

One soldier shouted: “Tell the world what you saw here.”
