


For those of you with short memories — like, say, liberals, for reasons we’ll discuss in a second — a mere 68 days ago as of Friday, The New York Times published an inadvertently hilarious story about the Democrats’ struggle to find a message with voters, particularly young males.
Buried in the article were these three paragraphs, which should really be enshrined in some kind of political time-capsule for when the party of the donkey, at least in its current form, is finally given its obsequies and laid to rest:
For now, Democratic donors and strategists have been gathering at luxury hotels to discuss how to win back working-class voters, commissioning new projects that can read like anthropological studies of people from faraway places.
