SALT LAKE CITY, UT — After putting a lot of thought into the potential scenario, a local wife specified to her husband which photo he's allowed to share with Dateline in the event she's brutally murdered.
Brianna Gorman said she had noticed on several of the 2,608 episodes of Dateline she had watched that the murdered wives featured on the show had really unflattering photos, leading her to show her husband, Dave, exactly which picture to give to NBC producers if she were violently killed.
"Dave, are you listening to me?" Brianna instructed, showing him a photo of herself taken at a recent friend's wedding. "This is very specific, so I need you to pay very close attention. Don't you dare give them any of the photos you've taken of me. I want this one. The angle is perfect, my hair was cooperating that day, and I looked skinny. It has to be this picture.
Dave Gorman confirmed that he was prohibited from providing any other photograph of his wife in the event of her shocking death. "She was very clear," he said. "I guess I can agree, but honestly, if something like that ever happens, I don't know if I'll be in my right mind to remember something like this. If she ever gets brutally murdered, I'm probably going to focus more on how to avenge her death."
At publishing time, Brianna had promised her husband that if she went missing and he used that photo from last year's camping trip where she had three double chins, she would come back as a ghost and haunt him for the rest of his life.
