GAZA — In an embarrassing blunder, Israel has authorized millions of dollars in food aid to be delivered to the Gaza Strip, completely messing up their ongoing genocide.

Experts warn that if the food trucks are allowed to continue rolling into Gaza, the genocide might be thwarted altogether.

"This is so silly. What on earth were we thinking?" exclaimed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he slapped his forehead with his hand. "All this food really puts a damper on our genocide of the Palestinians. Such a huge mistake."

Human Rights groups around the world thanked Israel for briefly pausing its total extermination of Gaza's populace to feed them. "We want the victims of this ongoing, unprovoked total genocide to be as fit and healthy as possible," said one UN spokesman.

Israel has promised it will not allow this mistake to happen again. "We forgot that feeding people free food is, like, one of the biggest no-nos when it comes to genociding," said Netanyahu. "Our bad. Live and learn, I guess."

At publishing time, Israel had come under condemnation from the international community for delivering trucks of pita bread to Gaza but no hummus.
