SPRINGFIELD, MO — Evidence of things unseen was witnessed by one local believer today, as a man found reassurance of the Lord's plan in his life after he managed to find the perfect parking spot.

Though the storms of life had caused him to periodically doubt God's sovereignty in all things, Jeff Lambert's faith was restored that the hand of the Almighty was, indeed, on him each day as he pulled into the spot right next to the grocery store's entrance.

"God works all things together for good," Lambert was heard muttering after he spotted the parking space. "It's true. For those who love God and are called according to His purpose, He will make it all work out just fine. I mean, just look at this parking spot, for crying out loud. You think things like this just ‘happen?' No way. This was providential."

Witnesses reported an unusually bright ray of sunlight beaming down from between the clouds in the sky as Lambert emerged from his car. "His face was shining," one person said. "It was almost as if you could see his faith swell once he landed that parking space. I wish I could get parking spots like that. I need to talk to that guy and find out how I can have what he has in his life."

At publishing time, Lambert had reportedly encountered yet another crisis of faith and cried out to God for some type of sign of His existence after getting stuck with a shopping cart that had one wheel that wouldn't turn.
