Work on an assembly line for 20 years and retire at 40 with $3 million and a pension: It's what Americans do.
Pull yourself up by your bootstraps: People still have bootstraps, right?
Get hired with no degree by a big corporation with a huge salary and full benefits: It happens every day.
Buy a house in Los Angeles for $3,000 in 1962: You can sell it now for MILLIONS.
Collect a large inheritance from your parents: LOL, just kidding, there's no chance you're getting anything.
