Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and Missy Elliot are part of the new class of inductees in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The singers are joined by the band Rage Against the Machine, singer Kate Bush, soul group the Spinners and the late pop star George Michael, the hall announced Wednesday.

“This year’s incredible group of inductees reflects the diverse artists and sounds that define rock ‘n’ roll,” John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said in a press release. “We are honored that this November’s induction ceremony in New York will coincide with two milestones in music culture: the 90th birthday of Willie Nelson and the 50th anniversary of the birth of hip-hop.”

Other talent joining in the induction: singer Chaka Khan, lyricist Bernie Taupin, hip-hop forefather DJ Kool Herc, guitarist Link Wray, “Soul Train” creator Don Cornelius and record executive Al Kooper.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has evolved into more of a general music hall of fame in the past 15 years. Inductees such as Madonna, Tupac, ABBA, Donna Summer and rap group N.W.A. have helped break the trend of letting in only rock legends.

The induction ceremony will be held Nov. 3 in Brooklyn.
