U.S. President Joe Biden greeted World War II veterans while in Normandy, France for ceremonies honoring the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Thursday.

In addition to meeting the president, the now-centenarian World War II veterans are revisiting old memories and fallen comrades buried in Normandy graves while in France.

Biden was to take part in a ceremony later at the American cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach.
