The firehouse used by the Eminence Area Volunteer Fire Department in southern Missouri burned to the ground Tuesday.

The blaze, which broke out at 5:45 a.m., consumed the whole structure and all the fire trucks within, the Shannon County First Responders told St. Louis Fox affiliate KTVI.

“Tragedy today for Eminence. The firehouse has burned. It is a total loss,” the SCFR wrote on Facebook.

No firefighters were injured, but Eminence firefighters lost seven trucks, including one used on 9/11 that was donated by the New York City Fire Department, according to local station KYTV.

“Seven vehicles, hoses, bunker gear, first aid equipment, radios, leaf blowers, everything. It was the only building, and all equipment was stored there,” the SCFR explained on Facebook.

The SCFR also posted a video of the fire engulfing the structure as other responding fire departments tried to put it out.

These videos are available for media use. Please credit Shannon County First Responders. Thank you.
