President Trump slammed continued media coverage of the Epstein case as “a Democrat hoax that never ends,” as Epstein accusers held a news conference on Capitol Hill sharing their stories.
“From what I understand, thousands of pages of documents have been given. But it’s really a Democrat hoax,” Mr. Trump said Wednesday while meeting with the president of Poland in the Oval Office. “Because they’re trying to get people to talk about something that’s totally irrelevant to the success we’ve had as a nation since I’ve been president.”
He said the administration’s accomplishments should be the focus instead, like ending wars and reducing crime in D.C.
“No matter what you do, [the Epstein coverage] is going to keep going,” he said. “Really, I think it’s enough.”
Epstein died in a New York City jail in 2019 while awaiting federal sex trafficking charges. A spotlight has been put on the Epstein files after the Trump administration said it would be releasing a whole slew of documents, but then changed course.
A House committee on Tuesday night released thousands of pages of documents pertaining to the Epstein case, much of which previously had been made public.

Some of Epstein’s victims were in Washington Wednesday demanding for the release of all files and information related to the disgraced financier. Republican Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Victoria Spartz of Indiana, along with Rep. Ro Khanna, California Democrat, were present.
Mr. Massie, a vocal Trump critic, has filed a discharge petition to try and force a House vote on releasing all the Epstein files.
