Former President Donald Trump said he will be doing a “play by play” of Tuesday’s vice presidential debate between his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance, and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz.
“I will be doing a personal PLAY BY PLAY of the Debate tomorrow between the Brilliant J.D. Vance and the Highly Inarticulate ‘Tampon’ Tim Walz,” Mr. Trump wrote on Truth Social Monday.
Mr. Vance, Ohio Republican, and Mr. Walz, Minnesota’s governor, will be debating Tuesday at CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.
“I hope that Cognitively Challenged, Lyin’ Kamala Harris, will be listening so that she can again show the World how she will make up false facts and stories in order to change around an administrative FAILURE! In any event, I will be commenting on what is going on. Watch TRUTH SOCIAL tomorrow night!” he said.
This is the first time Mr. Walz and Mr. Vance will debate, with just a little over a month left until the Nov. 5 election.
Mr. Trump and Ms. Harris had their own turn on the debate stage on Sept. 10, with many viewing it as a win for the vice president.
The former president has refused to debate again, since he has already done two — one with Ms. Harris and one with President Biden before he dropped out of the race.
The presidential race is neck-and-neck, with polls changing daily. A FiveThirtyEight.com average of polls shows Ms. Harris with a small lead as of Monday.
