NextImg:Trump posts AI clip imagining ‘Trump Gaza’

President Trump posted an AI-generated video on Wednesday that reimagines the war-torn Gaza strip as “Trump Gaza” with beautiful shorelines, bearded belly dancers and Dubai-style skyscrapers.

The 33-second clip is a fantastical imagining of what the strip could be like if Mr. Trump implemented his controversial plan for the U.S. to take control of the land between Egypt and Israel.

Mr. Trump wants neighboring Arab countries to accept Palestinians during the rebuild, prompting complaints the project is a way to displace the people of Gaza.

The scene morphs from a child standing in rubble under the banner of “2025” before posing the query: “What’s next?”

That unleashes a color-soaked barrage of scenes depicting a person who looks like Elon Musk basking in dollars and enjoying food at the beach. There is a golden balloon featuring Mr. Trump’s head and a “Trump Gaza” building that looks like one of his hotels or Atlantic City casinos.

“Donald is coming to set you free, bringing the light for all to see,” sings an electronic music track. “No more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here.”

The clip also features AI-generated images of Mr. Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lounging poolside in swimsuits.

Mr. Trump is likening the Gaza rebuild to a real estate opportunity after a conflict sparked by Hamas raids on Oct. 7, 2023. Palestinian militants killed more than 1,000 people and took scores of hostages from southern Israel.

Israel bombarded Gaza to rout Hamas militants, though tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians and some humanitarian workers died in the war.

It is unclear who made the “Trump Gaza” clip, though some people found it distasteful, given Gaza’s ordeal in recent months.

“The day Trump meets God will not be pleasant for him,” former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, Illinois Republican who often criticized Mr. Trump, said on X. “He is absolutely psycho.”
