President Trump excoriated former President Biden Tuesday, saying Mr. Biden allowed many Iranian terrorist sleeper cells to infiltrate the U.S.

Calling Mr. Biden “incompetent,” Mr. Trump said his predecessor “let a lot of sleeper cells in, many from Iran.”

“Hopefully we’ll take care of them,” Mr. Trump said. “What Biden did to this country should never be forgotten.”

The U.S. military’s bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday has raised concerns about possible retaliation, including potential attacks by Iranian agents in the U.S.

Border czar Tom Homan said Sunday that 1,272 Iranian foreign nationals were released during the Biden administration, who were among the “over 10 million people” who crossed into the U.S. illegally.

“So we’re not releasing people in this country, special interest aliens aren’t crossing this border undetected,” Mr. Homan said on Fox News. “But under Joe Biden, we had over 10 million people cross that border. But my biggest concern, from day one, beyond the fentanyl, beyond the sex trafficking of women and children, were the two million known ’gotaways.’”

According to Mr. Homan, more than two million people crossed the southern border that immigration officials cannot identify, “because they got away because border patrol was so overwhelmed with the humanitarian crisis that Biden created.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi testified before a House appropriations subcommittee on Monday that there are “countless” individuals officials are concerned about.

According to Ms. Bondi, the FBI, Justice Department and their counterparts at the Department of Defense, Homeland Security Investigations and the State Department are investigating the issue of terrorist sleeper cells within the U.S.
