Thieves cut a hole in the roof of a building to get access to a jewelry store this week in Manhattan Beach, California, and cleaned out its safe.

The Manhattan Beach Police Department said in a report that the incident happened in the early hours Monday. The suspects stole jewelry and gold and damaged drywall in an adjacent business, police said. Video surveillance captured the suspects in the middle of the theft.

A manager at the store, South Bay Gold, said in a video of the aftermath that “all the safes have been opened. Everything has been taken. They didn’t leave nothing. Everything is gone,” according to Los Angeles’ KABC-TV.

The store’s losses number in the millions, the unnamed manager told KABC-TV.

Alexander Hosno, an employee at the adjacent Coast Music store where the drywall was damaged, told KCBS-TV that one of the suspects “was in the walls. He was plugging things into our outlets.”

One of the suspects left behind DNA evidence after getting cut.

“In the video, you can see how dark and bloody his hands are, and that’s how police were able to get some of his blood for a DNA test,” Coast Music employee Joshua Hill told KABC.

The investigation into the theft is ongoing, with no suspects apprehended, the Manhattan Beach Police Department said.
