A planned rerun of a “South Park” episode mocking Charlie Kirk was replaced with a different show after his murder on Wednesday.

The episode, titled “Got a Nut,” was the second of the Comedy Central show’s 27th season. The show was scheduled to air Wednesday night, but it was pulled and the season’s first episode was shown instead, according to The Arizona Republic.

The episode was also slated to run late Friday, according to TV Weekly, and is still available to stream on the Paramount+ streaming service.

In a TikTok after the episode first aired last month, Mr. Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, took the satire in good spirits, saying it was “hilarious” and adding that “this is all a win. We as conservatives have thick skin, not thin skin, and you can make fun of us and it doesn’t matter.”

Mr. Kirk appeared at Utah Valley University with his “Prove Me Wrong” table as part of Turning Point USA’s “The American Comeback Tour” when a gunman shot him in the neck, killing him.

The search for the suspected assassin continues. The FBI released an image of the suspect Thursday and asked that anyone with information call 1-800-CALL-FBI, offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest of the suspect.

The shooter’s motive is also being investigated. An email from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives indicated that rifle cartridges found after the shooting had “antifascist” and “transgender” inscriptions, according to reports.
