A veteran crime scene reconstruction analyst has suggested that a recent video from Las Vegas may show two entities using a “cloaking device,” a claim arising from a detailed examination of footage captured in a backyard.
Scott Roder, known for his expert testimony in high-profile criminal cases, meticulously analyzed the video frame by frame, Fox News reported.
Mr. Roder’s analysis focused on a sequence in which a “head… with smoke around it” appears in one frame per second. He described this phenomenon as indicative of “some sort of cloaking device,” with the figure peering over a fence in the top right corner of the video.
Using the same methods that he applies in homicide investigations, Mr. Roder said, “What we’ve seen here, is proof of a couple of things. That these entities… are real. They’re there. This is not fake. This is not a fraud.”
Mr. Roder collaborated with Jim Quirk, a reporter and host of the Extraterrestrial Reality podcast, to reconstruct the scene in the Las Vegas backyard on April 30, 2023. Mr. Quirk provided videos and images to Fox News Digital to support the analysis.
The incident began with an unexplained streak of light captured on Las Vegas police bodycams. The glowing green light was also reported by at least 21 individuals across eastern California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, according to the American Meteor Society.
Following this event, Las Vegas resident Angel Kenmore called 911, reporting a “tall, skinny alien creature with greenish color,” estimated to be eight to 10 feet tall, hiding behind a forklift in his backyard.
During Mr. Quirk’s podcast, Mr. Roder explained, “You can’t manifest something to move inside the screen. I think that’s why I like this video because you can clearly show something in the background that at least Angel and his family are reacting to. And it makes sense to me that that’s what they’re reacting to. And whatever it is, it’s moving.”
