Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort and other theme parks in the Florida city are reopening Friday after shutting down for Hurricane Milton. Some Tampa-area parks, however, remain closed.

The four theme parks at Disney World — EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom — are swinging doors open along with the Disney Springs shopping and entertainment district.

Two facilities — the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa — remain closed for now. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is scheduled to reopen Saturday.

All three Universal Orlando Resort parks — Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and the Volcano Bay water park — are back in business.

The three Orlando parks operated by United Parks & Resorts — SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove and the Aquatica Orlando water park — are open Friday. SeaWorld Orlando has canceled its Halloween programming, however.

The two Tampa-area parks owned by United Parks & Resorts — Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and the Adventure Island water park — remain closed.

All tickets to United Parks & Resorts facilities closed due to the storm are valid through the end of the year.
