Former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz will host a show on One America News starting in early 2025, the TV and streaming network announced Tuesday.
“The Matt Gaetz Show” will round out OAN’s political prime-time lineup, airing every weeknight.
Mr. Gaetz praised the cable channel, saying in a statement, “OAN is blazing a trail in the media, embracing not just traditional news but the platforms where Americans are going — streaming, apps, podcasts and social media. I couldn’t be more thrilled to join OAN’s forward-thinking team and be a part of this revolutionary expansion.”
OAN President Charles Herring said Mr. Gaetz’s insider knowledge and “America-first values” will be an asset to the network.
In addition to his daily show, Mr. Gaetz will host a podcast with OAN anchor Dan Ball, aimed at younger consumers.
The OAN TV show will be Mr. Gaetz’s first job after withdrawing from consideration to become attorney general. President-elect Donald Trump nominated his fellow Republican shortly after winning the election.
Amid pushback from some senators, Mr. Gaetz withdrew from the nomination on Nov. 21.
