The Republican National Committee announced Thursday that NewsNation will host its fourth presidential candidates debate in Alabama in December.

The debate is set for Dec. 6 in Tuscaloosa. It will have three moderators, including Megyn Kelly, host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast, according to a news release.

NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas will act as a moderator along with Eliana Johnson, executive editor of the Washington Free Beacon.

Five GOP hopefuls took the stage for the third debate on Wednesday: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

Former President Donald Trump has qualified for all three debates but has declined to participate.

The RNC announced last week the new criteria to qualify for the fourth debate:

Candidates will need to receive at least 6% support in two national polls, or in one national poll and two separate polls in early primary states such as Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada or South Carolina. The polls need to survey at least 800 registered likely Republican voters.

The candidates must have a minimum of 80,000 unique donors, with at least 200 unique donors in 20 or more states or territories each.

Each contender has up to 48 hours before the debate to meet the requirements.
