Cuba’s foreign minister said his nation’s embassy in the District of Columbia was hit with two Molotov cocktails Sunday.

Bruno Rodriguez called it “a terrorist attack,” with two projectiles striking embassy property. No one was hurt.

“Anti-Cuban groups resort to terrorism because they feel impunity, something Cuba has repeatedly warned U.S. authorities about,” Mr. Rodriguez wrote on X.

A spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service said embassy officials contacted authorities about the attack around 8 p.m. Sunday, according to WTOP News.

Responding officers didn’t notice any fire or significant damage while at the embassy in Northwest D.C.

No arrests were made, but the Secret Service is investigating.

A Cuban man living in the U.S. was accused of spraying the embassy with bullets in an April 2020 attack.

Suspected shooter Alexander Alazo is pursuing an insanity defense to his charges in federal court.
