After no players got lucky and hit all six balls in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing, the lottery’s grand prize has reached $740 million.

The winning numbers Friday were white balls 36, 43, 52, 58 and 65 and gold ball 16.

If a player gets all six balls and wins the grand prize in Tuesday’s drawing, his or her win will be the eighth largest in Mega Millions history, the lottery said in a release Saturday.

A jackpot hasn’t been won since Sept. 10 when a ticket bought in Texas had the lucky numbers. That $810 million prize was the seventh-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history. There have been 27 drawings since then.

If the jackpot is won Tuesday, the player will choose a lump sum of $342.9 million or an annuity in which he or she is paid a smaller immediate sum followed by 29 annual payments, each being 5% larger than the last.

Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands for $2 a pop. They’re not sold in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada or Utah.
