Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday visited a phone bank hosted by the Democratic National Committee in Washington where she made phone calls to encourage voters to get to the polls.

Ms. Harris picked up a cell phone and joined the phone bank.

“I am well,” Ms. Harris told the person on the other end. “Have you voted already?”

The person responded, to which Ms. Harris said, “You did? Thank you.” 

“What’s your name…hi, it’s Kamala Harris. Waiting for you to grow 10 years more,” she said to what was likely a child on the phone. “It’s so important, we have so much work to do.” 

When reporters asked Ms. Harris how she was doing, she responded, “gotta talk to voters.” 

Ms. Harris also took the time to thank volunteers working at the DNC phone bank.

Earlier in the day, Ms. Harris spent time calling local radio stations and encouraging listeners to get out and vote.
