A New York court will reveal over 100 associates of accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein come the new year, according to a report.
Judge Loretta Preska on Monday ordered the names of 177 “Does” to be fully unsealed by Jan. 1, according to the Daily Mail.
The tabloid said the Does include victims, recruiters and friends of Epstein, who prison officials said hanged himself in 2019 in a Manhattan cell while awaiting trial for running an international child sex trafficking ring.
The Mail reported that the disclosure stems from a 2016 defamation case brought by Virginia Roberts against convicted Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Ms. Roberts accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her at least three times in 2001 while Ms. Roberts was 17.
Some people to be named during the unsealing include housekeepers on Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean — Little Saint James of the U.S. Virgin Islands — which locals dubbed Pedophile Island.
The Mail reported that others implicated in the files will be French model scout Jean-Luc Brunel and girl recruiter Haley Robson.
Brunel was a close friend of Epstein who was accused of sexually abusing multiple young women. He hanged himself in a Paris prison cell last year while awaiting trial on sex charges.
Ms. Robson was named during a 2006 police investigation in Palm Beach, Florida, as a recruiter for Epstein’s sex trafficking operation. She has argued she was a victim of the operation as well.
The tabloid reported that Annie Farmer and her sister, Maria, are likely to be included in the document dump.
Annie Farmer provided evidence at Maxwell’s sex trafficking trial, where she was convicted in 2021. Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence in federal prison.
Doe 67 is reported to be a recruiter who brought a 14-year-old girl into Epstein’s orbit.
Other materials expected to be revealed in the unsealing include emails, depositions and legal documents.
The Does have 14 days to object to their names being released to the public.
