Homeland Security arrested 25 gang members Friday, including 10 members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, as well as more than 400 other illegal immigrants with criminal records.

Among those criminals were Cesar Augusto Polanco, 59, a Dominican Republic citizen and convicted murderer, and Jose Tito Reyes, 54, a Salvadoran with a sex crimes record, according to data from an administration official.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also deported 468 migrants as it ramped up efforts to carry out President Trump’s immigration crackdown.

The arrests come as immigration activists complain about one ICE action in New Jersey on Thursday that netted three illegal immigrants at a business in Newark.

Local officials claim the three had no criminal records and say the officers had no warrant to enter the business.

ICE said it made 593 arrests on Friday, 445 with criminal records. That works out to a 75% criminal record rate.

ICE said it had 4,971 agents and officers working immigration cases on Friday.

“Promises made, promises kept,” Homeland Security wrote in an email to reporters. “President Trump is already securing our border and deporting criminal aliens.”
