Just hours after their debate face-off, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump were at the same place again Wednesday when they attended the ceremony commemorating the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks in New York City.

Ms. Harris and Mr. Trump will both attended the service at the Memorial plaza at ground zero in New York City, where the former World Trade Center twin towers once stood. President Biden and Mr. Trump’s running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, will also attended.

After the New York City event, Ms. Harris, Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump will travel to Shanksville, Pennsylvania, home of the Flight 93 memorial. However, it’s unclear if the three will be there at the same time.

Ms. Harris and Mr. Biden will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony in Shanksville. They will then go to a 9/11 memorial event at the Pentagon scheduled for the evening.

In 2020, Mr. Trump, as then-president, and Mr. Biden, as the Democratic nominee, attended the Sept. 11 commemoration at ground zero and traveled to Shanksville.

Last year, Ms. Harris went to the New York memorial service, while Mr. Biden, who was returning from an overseas trip to Asia, commemorated the anniversary at an Air Force base in Alaska.
