A Jupiter, Florida resident who posted on Facebook a threat to kill President Trump was arrested by local police on Friday.

The Jupiter Police Department arrested Glen DeCicco on charges of making written threats to kill.

The police were alerted to a concerning Facebook post and opened an investigation in conjunction with the Secret Service. Detectives reviewed Mr. DeCicco’s social media activity and confirmed that he had threatened the president.

Secret Service agents joined local detectives in interviewing Mr. DeCicco, and he was taken into custody without incident.

The Washington Times found a Facebook page belonging to a Glen DeCicco who lists his residence as Jupiter, Florida.

The page contains several anti-Trump posts, including two posted Friday morning that could be read as threats to the president.

The first, posted at 9:33 a.m., said “ass-ass-inate!”

That was followed by a 9:40 a.m. post that contained a more direct threat.
