An American Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Phoenix landed at Washington Dulles International Airport instead because a fire broke out on board.

American Airlines flight 357 left Philadelphia International Airport over an hour late at 11:05 a.m. and then had to land at Dulles at 11:52 a.m., according to flight tracking website FlightAware.

The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that the crew reported a fire started in one of the Airbus A321’s passenger rows, resulting in the diversion. No injuries were mentioned.

American Airlines flight 357 landed safely … following reports of smoke from a customer’s device. The device was quickly contained by crew members prior to landing. Customers and crew deplaned normally. We appreciate the professionalism of our crew and thank our team who are working to get our customers to their destination as quickly as possible,” the air carrier said, according to Phoenix TV station KPNX-TV.

Flight 357 was carrying six crew members and 160 passengers, American Airlines said, according to KPNX-TV.
