Federal prosecutors in the District have revealed the identities of two murder suspects and a rape suspect who were arrested this month during the surge of federal law enforcement.
The Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia said the two murder suspects are Tarik Settles, 30, and Leroy Dixon, 17.
Mr. Settles was linked to an April shooting that left a 22-year-old man dead in Southeast, and was nabbed by the FBI.
Prosecutors said Mr. Dixon is accused of gunning down a 16-year-old boy in the Navy Yard neighborhood in May. He, too, was tracked down by the FBI on a murder warrant.
The attorney’s office said Andre Lucas was wanted in connection to a rape in Maryland. He was arrested in the District and is set to be extradited.
