NEW ORLEANS — The Philadelphia Eagles have spoiled the Kansas City Chiefs’ bid for a three-peat, winning Super Bowl 40-22.

Jalen Hurts is forever a Super Bowl winner now, but he lauded Philadelphia’s defense in his on-field interview with Fox.

“Defense wins championships,” Hurts said.

He also deflected credit to all his teammates: “I couldn’t do any of these things without the guys around me.”

At the end of Sirianni’s post-Super Bowl interview with Fox, he embraced his family and lifted one of his kids to his shoulder — leading an “E-A-G-L-E-S” chant.

Sirianni called football “the ultimate team game” in his post-Super Bowl interview.

“You can’t be great without the greatness of others,” he said.

Sirianni said the Eagles didn’t care what people thought about their path this season.

“All we wanted to do is win,” Sirianni said, later adding, “these guys did not want to let each other down.”
