NextImg:Disney raises ticket and annual pass prices

The cost of tickets and annual passes for Disneyland and Walt Disney World are up, effective Wednesday.

While the basic single-day, single-park prices at both resorts are staying level, $104 for California’s Disneyland and $109 for Florida’s Walt Disney World, other ticket and pass options are getting more expensive.

At the Disneyland resort, single-day tickets are grouped in seven tiers, based on which days the tickets are for. The more in-demand a calendar date is, such as a Saturday or Sunday or a day that’s part of a holiday break, the higher tier and higher cost the single-day ticket is — rising by anywhere from $5 to $15.

The price of the Park Hopper add-on, which lets visitors move between the resorts’ parks, also has gone up — by $5 to $15 more.

At Walt Disney World, annual passholders that are bearing the brunt of the price hikes. The cost of the Incredi-Pass, the most expensive tier available to customers nationwide, is jumping $50 to $1,449, according to WDWMagic.com.
